Arriyathe Arriyathe (Maiden Malayalam song)

UPDATED ON DEC-17:
Updated the song with a new recording.
========================================================
While in stream of singing songs of different singers, I thought of trying a song in Malayalam by singer Sujatha, but I had a huge challenge of firstly knowing what solo songs were sung by singer Sujatha, then I had to look for a place online that could let me buy/download karaoke for that song and also find the original to practice.

A song that was an answer to all the above challenges was "Arriyathe Arriyathe" from the movie Ravanaprabhu sung by KS Chitra.

This song is dedicated to all my hostelmates and chechis who helped me speak and learn Malayalam during my stay in Kerala.

Hi Ajitha,

I think you have to improve a little more to stick on to Shruthi throughout the song.

Thanks Jo and Pradipji.

I was on Gtalk with Divya trying to get the A"R"iyathe right.

I am planning to record this song again this weekend..when I heard the recording myself a couple of times, I was convinced that i need to do this one again.

Thanks for those pointers. Will update the blog once I am done.

PERSONAL
HI AJITHA

was googling something came to this site. AWesome!!.started to listen with paakathe paakathe and listen to more. got a shocker when read that u learned malayalam and sang the song.Good effort considering this fact. as u said it needs to re recorded and needs few stops in between phrases.the reason is the orginal is a duet. hence to get transition it seems necessary.(ignore if i am wrong) may be becoz a malayali and heard this song a lot of times i m commenting.hope u dont mind
Anyways one more site to be bookmarked for me .ALL THE VERY BEST .If possible let me know how you do the recording ?u visit a studio?
Anyways wishing you ALL THE VERY BEST !KEEP SINGING !

Marvellous Ajitha.. I am happy that I came across this page. I am a mallu. I want to assure you that you get the sounds right, though you may already know it. I am a big Sujatha fan (and of Falguni Pathak too). I have not seen what else you have online right now. I will go throgh everything. Please keep singing.

Manu - Thanks for stopping by! And for your encouraging words about my Mallu pronunciation. Please do listen to my other renditions and appreciate if you could provide me your feedback.

Brilliant Ajitha.
Appreciate the effort you have taken to get your mallu pronounciation right - especially words like pavi'zha' bcoz most non-mallus find pronouncing 'zha' impossible :-)
Also, clarity of words occurring together, like 'alayaathe aliyaathe', was wonderful.

I am bookmarking your page and will keep returning to listening to all your songs.
